Today is the Burial of the Former President Cory Aquino. She died on August 1, 2009 at 3:18 AM. She died of Cardio Respiratory Arrest after complications of Colon Cancer. Former President Cory Aquino sustained democracy in six years. She have done her part and it went well. Thanks to You Tita Cory Aquino. Wherever F.P. Cory Aquino is for now, I can see that she is happy for she is now with her husband, Ninoy Aquino, who was assasinated on the year 1983.

Cory had told her faithful security aide Mel Mamaril at least four times during her confinement at the Makati Medical Center that she had wanted to go home. She did not expect her hospitalization to take more than a week. Last week, according to Kris, she asked her mother, who was staring at something (or someone), if she was seeing Ninoy. Cory said yes. “Is he calling you? Does he want to hold your hand?” Yes, Cory told her daughter. “Then go with Dad, Mom,” was Kris’ reply. Last Saturday, Cory took Ninoy’s hand. She is home.
